To help make your stay even more relaxed and peaceful, why not have a Shiatsu massage & Reiki healing with Helen in her beautiful Armadilla, a hand built pod with a porthole to greenness.
Helen is also available to guide slow, mindful walks round the croft.
Book a session before you arrive on the comment section of the booking form.
Dates and times can be confirmed a couple of days before your stay with us.
Come with friends, take both cottages and Ewan Bàn and all of you can have a healing massage during your stay!
If you would just like to use the Armadilla for your personal use, please ask Helen.
We have been hosting guests on the croft for over 25 years and our goal has always to offer a space to relax, breathe and forget the busy world for a few days.
As well as enjoying the peace of the croft walk, we offer the opportunity of a Shiatsu and Reiki treatment or a bespoke meditative walk and experience including mindful body work that combines expressive therapy and movement Shiatsu. Why not also use our gym?
Spending time in Helen’s Armadilla -variously described as an ark, an egg, a womb, a porthole to greenness and a bespoke treatment pod for individual therapeutic treatment and for meditation in small groups. It is a safe, energised space with underfloor heating and a porthole looking onto the croft. Come with friends or experience it individually.
Reiki and Shiatsu help to restore life forces – connecting, energising, experiencing physicality and thinking about oneself in a new way.
Shiatsu is a gentle form of massage working with energy pathways (meridians) releasing long-held chronic imbalances, as well as stretching, opening and giving deep support.
Movement Shiatsu gives a direct sensation of your own body from deep within.
Reiki connects you to a universal life force through gentle touch, leaving you feeling relaxed, peaceful and energised.
Most guests come to experience the great outdoors on Skye. Many include running as part of their daily routine before or after exploring the island. We can guide you with local runs and distances or longer more challenging routes ……..and if the weather does just turn out to be a bit ‘disappointing’ and you still need to burn off energy, the gym is there for you.
